Rules

  • Team size is 1 - 5 members. You can either invite your friends to form a team or you can request other teams to add you as a member.

  • The Project must built on the Internet Computer (ICP).

  • Prize money will only be awarded to the projects that uniquely leverage ICP technology & fills a gap in the ICP ecosystem in terms of usages of the tech. Mediocre projects will not be rewarded.

  • Must submit working Project deployment link.

  • It's an online hackathon, you can participate from anywhere. Also, the Online Hackathon also features Offline Buidl Stations/Meetups across India. So, you can participate in those as well.

  • The hackathon will start at Apr 08, 2024 09:00 AM IST (Asia/Kolkata) and end at May 11, 2024 11:59 PM IST (Asia/Kolkata), you work on your hack during the allotted time only.

  • There are 11 themes of the hackathon, you must submit a hack that is in one of these themes.

  • Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.

  • You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas, any idea that has been copied from somewhere will be disqualified.

  • Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.

  • The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.

  • By participating in the hackathon, you agree to the terms and conditions of HackerEarth.

Team Composition

  • Teams can have a minimum of 1 member to a maximum of 5 members.

Exclusion of ICP Grants

  • Teams that have previously received grants or funding from ICP are not eligible to participate in this hackathon.
    • This rule is in place to promote a level playing field and prevent potential conflicts of interest.

Participation in Multiple Hackathons

  • Each team participating in this hackathon should not concurrently compete in any other ICP blockchain hackathon. We encourage a singular focus on this event to ensure fairness and dedication.
